DEUFOL expands: new branch in Opole from January 2024

Hofheim am Taunus, 10.01.2024

DEUFOL, a leading provider of end-2-end supply chain solutions in the heavy-duty industry, is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch in Opole. This expansion underlines the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its presence in the southern Polish market and offering customers innovative, efficient, and sustainable end-2-end logistics services.

The new branch in Opole features a warehouse area of 1,000 sqm and also offers a spacious outdoor storage area of up to 8,000 sqm. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a 35-tonne and an 80-tonne outdoor gantry crane as well as forklift trucks with a capacity of 12.5 and 3.5 tonnes, the location is optimally equipped to meet the needs of industrial customers. The facility also offers ideal conditions for the storage and handling of heavy and large goods.

Another advantage of the new site is its direct access to the harbour on the Oder, which is equipped with a 500-tonne crane and therefore offers optimum conditions for handling goods that are transported by water. This strategic location enables efficient and flexible handling of a wide range of logistics and transport requirements.

Dennis Hübner, CEO of the DEUFOL Group, commented positively on the new expansion: “The opening of our branch in Opole specifically strengthens our presence in the southern Polish market and expands our strategic end-2-end HUB network. This step enables us to offer our customers and their suppliers improved and more efficient end-to-end and digital logistics services. The new location is an essential part of our strategy to respond directly to the local needs of our customers through customised logistics solutions and to expand our position as one of the leading international logistics service providers.”
